Hi, I am Ganesh Dutt Sharma, the owner and webmaster of worldiswelcome.com.
Before starting the blog I had a lot of questions in my mind like:
- Which software to choose from for blogging
- What topic or area to blog about
- Whether I should stick to a single topic or multiple range of topics
and the list continues….
Ultimately after Googling around so many sites and reviews I narrowed down to wordpress. Now the thing next for me was what to blog about. So, I decided to blog by writing my first blog post by describing my feelings and whatever comes to my mind. Nothing is pre-planned and I am writing whatever is coming in my mind.
Let me start by introducing myself. I am an Indian, specifically Punjabi and belong to Ropar. Ropar is a small town in Punjab.
I am a graduate engineer in Instrumentation field, which I never liked(:-). I was always inclined towards computers, specially programming. But as the fate had decided, I did not get much chance to work with softwares. At the end I landed up as a System Administrator.
Next, I hated Unix word and loved windows, but again as the fate had decided, I landed up being Unix system administrator. So, now I am perfectly married to Unix and love being Unix system administrator. Now I am working as full time system administrator in one consultancy in Gurgaon.
How and why I started my website and blog, I’ll write more about this and me in the next session, when I get some more time. Till then Bye Bye See ya.
